Try Out the New Goth Pinocchio Game ‘Lies of P’ with the Demo Version
Lies of P is a sinister, steampunk interpretation of the Pinocchio tale, set to release on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S (including Game Pass) on September 19th. A demo is currently accessible on all platforms until June 27th, requiring an internet connection and free of charge.
Lies of P is a prolific South Korean publisher and developer called Neowiz. The studio describes the game as a Souls-style action experience with an all dark fantasy feel. The latest trailer for Lies of P, which premiered during the Summer Game Fest kick-off today, reveals a sprawling industrial landscape filled with mechanical technologies, cog robots, and bronze finishes. The game is styled after the Belle Epoque era and is based on the French aesthetics of the late 19th century.
Lies of P includes character customization and different story options. Neowiz describes the setting and gameplay as follows: “Krat has become a once beautiful nightmare as deadly puppets run rampant and a plague sweeps the land. Play as P, a puppet who must fight his way through the city with his unrelenting power. The journey to find Geppetto and finally become human.”
Pre-orders for the digital deluxe version of Lies of P will get early access to the full game. Pre-orders are currently open on the game’s website.
